Charles Owens

Charles A. Owens, 55, of Topeka, died Friday July 30, 2010, at a local hospital. He was born August 19, 1955 in Boston, MA, the son of John and Sally (Walker) Owens. They preceded him in death.
Charles was raised in Massachusetts, attended high school in Salina, KS and had been a resident of Topeka for over 35 years. Charles married Therese Malone on October 22, 1992 at Assumption Church in Topeka. She survives.
Charles was a friend of Bill W. He loved to travel, and was very fond of music. He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was extremely strong in his Catholic faith.
Charles will be cremated. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 6, 2010 at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. A prayer services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, KS 66606.
