Cheryll "Sherry" Kay Hohman, Topeka, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013.
Sherry was born in Jackson, Michigan to Wilson and Exie (Burton) Fitts. At the age of 10, the family moved to Topeka. She graduated from Topeka West High School and the University of Kansas where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
Sherry worked for Southwest Publishing and Mailing for over thirty years. She was a member at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Sherry loved laughing and spending time with her friends. She also enjoyed working in her garden and cheering on the Jayhawks but above all, her family was most important in her life.
Sherry is survived by her daughter, Audrey Hohman – Miller, and her husband, William Miller, New York, NY; son, Trey Hohman, and his wife, Sharon Sognalian, Los Angeles, CA; sister Judy Lochmann, Topeka; and two granddaughters, Stella Miller and Delilah Hohman.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, Topeka. Inurnment will follow the services at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
