Chester Junior Williams, 67, of Topeka passed away on July 22, 2004 at a local hospital. He was born October 2, 1936, in Cave City, Kentucky, the son of James Seth Williams and Nellie Florence Goad.
Chester was stationed in Ft. Riley as an MP. He was an active member of New Life Church, enjoyed woodworking and was a member of American Legion Post 400. Chester retired from Goodyear after 33 years of working. He also enjoyed attending Rod Runs with his children.
Chester married Carolyn Sue McDaniel on September 13, 1958, she survives. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Williams. One Daughter, Lori Hansen and her husband, Richard. One son, Tim Williams and his wife, Kathy. All of Topeka. 5 Grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and his beloved dog, Muffy.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, July 26, 2004 at New Life Church. 6220 SW 29th St. Burial will be in Meriden Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to New Life Church, American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Chester was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by hid family and friends.
