Chester William Platt, Sr.

Chester William Platt Sr., 60, found peace on Sunday afternoon, October 6, 2013. He was born November 4, 1952 in Topeka, KS to Rosella June (Stocker) and Chester Orlando Platt. Chester found his calling when he owned and operated his successful family business, Platt and Company Transportation, for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Angel. He is survived by his 5 children, Tim Ossman, Stacy (Barrie) Salters, Chester "Bill" (Dawn) Platt, Bob (Sophie) Platt, and Monica (Josh) Gray; six grandchildren; one sister, Dena (Jesse "Buggs") Remigio; and several nieces and nephews.
Chester's wishes are to be cremated and laid to his final resting place at his rural Topeka home. A visitation will be held Friday, October 11 from 6-8PM at Grace Point Church, 5400 SW Huntoon, Topeka, Kansas 66604
