Christina Parr, 88, of Topeka, passed away July 18, 2017. She was born March 10, 1929 to Alex and Chirstina Ure at Burlingame, Kansas. The family moved to Topeka when Christina was a teen. She married Marlin Parr. He preceded her in death.
Christina ran a daycare in her home in Auburn for many years before moving back to Topeka 10 years ago. She liked to shop and go to the casinos. In her youth she worked at Seymour's (egg plant) in Topeka.
She is survived by her daughter Anita and son Duane, both of Topeka.
