Christine Allen

Christine (Chrissy) Marrie Allen, 20 of Topeka, passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2002 at the KU Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.

She was born on January 29, 1982, in Topeka, the daughter of Michael and Pamela James Allen.

She grew up in Topeka, and graduated from Highland Park High School in 2000.
She attended Highland Community College on a musical scholarship for a short while before she got sick. She was very musically talented and could play 17 instruments. She sang with the Scot Singers at Highland Park High School.

She was a member of the Oakland Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her Mother, Pamela and Step-father, Mark Reser of Topeka, KS; Her Father, Michael Allen of Topeka; 1 Brother, James Lee Allen of Topeka, KS; 1 Step-sister, Ariel Reser of Topeka, KS; Maternal grandparents, Ray and Bonnie James of Topeka, KS.; Great-grandmother, Esther Carver of Topeka, KS;
Step-grandparents, Robert and Janet Reser, Tecumseh, KS.

She was preceded in death by Grandparents, Darlington and Elizabeth Allen of Topeka, KS

Christine will lie in state at Penwell Gabel Highland Chapel after 12 noon on Thursday, January 2, 2003, and on Friday until time of service. Her visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday. Funeral services will be on Friday, at 1:00pm at Penwell Gabel Highland Chapel. Burial will follow at the Zion Cemetery, Tecumseh, KS.
