Christine Lea Grant, 55, Carbondale, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at a local hospital.
Christine was born April 27, 1964 in Topeka, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Brown) Grant. She attended Shawnee Heights High School.
She had been employed at Casey's in Scranton and the BP service station and Wheat State Pizza in Overbrook. She was happiest being a homemaker and mother.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and celebrating holidays, especially Halloween. Her children and grandchildren meant the most to her. They were her highest priority.
Survivors include her children, Ashley (Travis) Hill, Elijah Harris, Rylie (Daryl Starkebaum) Taylor, 7 grandchildren, Quentin, Owin, Abre, Evin, Isaiah, Noah, Josephine; 1 brother; and 6 sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Christine's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road.
