Christopher Michael Armstrong

Christopher Michael Armstrong, affectionately known as Chris, was born on May 26, 1981, in Wichita, Kansas. He passed away on January 11, 2025, in West Warwick, Rhode Island, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by his loved ones. 

Chris was a skilled professional, having honed his craft in the Non-Destructive Testing field, completing his education at the Ocean Corporation trade school in Houston, TX in 2012. He took immense pride in his work, demonstrating exceptional dedication and expertise that earned him respect in his field. 

Family was the cornerstone of Chris’ life. He is survived by his beloved children: Damien, Emma, and Gabriel Armstrong, who were his proudest accomplishments. Chris had a soft-hearted nature and a profound love for his family and friends. He was always known for his humor and warmth, qualities that endeared him to many. Chris was preceded in death by his father Tim Armstrong. He shared a strong bond with his parents, Karen and Jim Medford and enjoyed cherished moments with his brother Sean Medford, nephew Oliver Medford, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In his personal life, Chris found joy in a variety of interests. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, had a love for cooking when he had the time, and was a dedicated fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, displaying a spirited zeal during game days. Additionally, he developed a passion for photography and enjoyed playing video games, all of which contributed to a well-rounded and fulfilling life.

Chris’ companionship extended to his beloved dogs, Buttercup and Zoey, who brought him immense joy. He was well-regarded for his funny personality and his ability to light up a room with his laughter.

His family takes great comfort that he is now reunited with his loved ones that have gone before him. He will forever be honored in the memories of those he left behind.

As friends and family come together to remember Chris, they will undoubtedly share stories that reflect his loving spirit and the indelible impact he had on their lives. His memory will live on through the endless love and laughter he shared with those closest to him.
