Gail Christopher "Chris" Buchheit, 60, of Kansas City, passed away on August 16, 2012.
He was born on March, 29, 1952 in Topeka.
Chris attended Highland Park High School.
Chris lived in various states and in Canada throughout his life. He was an owner and manager of tourist's camps in Canada, as well as owned a high rise widow cleaning company. Chris enjoyed sailing, fishing, mountain climbing and he loved nature and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include three children, Gayle (Buchheit) Hunter, Ann Buchheit, and Jenell Buchheit; four grandchildren; his mother, Betty Buchheit; and three siblings, Cheryl McAuliffe, Chuck Buchheit, and David Buchheit.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, at Lyn Creek Cemetery, Berryton. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Dove Cremation & Funeral Service.
