Clarke Roger Williams, 89, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
He was born September 29, 1935, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the son of Kenneth and Clara (Sutton) Williams. He graduated from Sterling High School in Sterling, Colorado in 1954. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was stationed in Japan.
Mr. Williams was a member of the First Christian Church, of Topeka.
Clarke married Linda Weiszbrod on October 14, 1962 in Larned, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include grandson, Conner Williams and niece, Diane King and her daughter, Amanda Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dale Williams and Robert Williams, and son, Wade Williams.
Clarke loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, leather working, vegetable gardening, reading western novels, watching western movies, and was an avid chess and card player.
Clarke’s wishes were for cremation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
