Claude E. Turner

Claude Eugene Turner, 65, of Topeka, passed away October 14, 2014. He was born at Garnett, Kansas to Claude Ellsworth and Reva (Shephard) Turner on January 11, 1949. He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1967.
He married Carla Jean Pence on February 9, 1971 at Ottawa. He was employed as a Kwik Shop store manager until he retired in 2013 for medical reasons. He was a member of Lakeview Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his 2 children, Carl Turner and Jennifer Carlock (Trey) of Topeka; 2 sisters, Mary Proctor (Roy) and Glenda Minnick of Topeka; 4 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carla and his second wife, Gloria Delene.
A memorial service will be held at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
