Clinton James Stone

Clinton James Stone, 86, passed away October 21, 2010 in Topeka Kansas.
He was born May 25, 1924 in Ord, Nebraska, the son of James and Minnie (Luedtke) Stone.

Clint served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He worked for 35 years as a telephone manager and plant engineer for Northwestern Bell.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, VFW, American Legion, Patrol Frigate Association, and Coast Guard Combat Veterans Association. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Shrine. He was active in various community organizations and camping clubs.

He married Ruth Steele in 1946, she survives. Other survivors include daughters, Carol Bragdon (Harold), and Jan Vlasak (Jim); son, Robert Stone (Laurie); seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
