Clone James "Jim" Moon, 69, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011.
He was born March 23, 1942 in Topeka, KS, the son of Glenn William and Lillie Margaret (Williams) Moon. Early on Jim's life was a bit turbulent – many highs and lows.
He was married and later divorced. To this union were two daughters, Connie and Cindy Moon. Clone married Genneth E. McElwain in 1966. They had five children, Leasa Bombardier, Jamie, Mitch, and Mike Moon; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty Johnson; two brothers, Glen and Robert Moon. He was preceded in death by a son, John Moon, a brother, Victor Beltz and a sister, Clara Humphrey.
He was a self-employed as a tileman in Topeka. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the K.C. Chiefs.
Mr. Moon was cremated. A graveside memorial ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service is assisting the family.
