served in WWII. He was discharged from the Navy in 1946, and returned to Topeka. On March 23, 1964 he
married Sharon Snow , in Topeka. She survives. He was employed by Shawnee County as a truck driver for 23
years. After he retired from Shawnee County, in 1986, he was a janitor at Sumner Elementary Grade School. He
was a member of the Oakland Christian Church in Topeka.
