It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clyde Stanley Seel, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. A lifelong resident of Topeka, Kansas, Clyde passed away on March 31, 2025, at KU Medical Center.
Born on December 30, 1964, Clyde was the youngest of twelve children in a large blended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Bonnie Seel. He is remembered with love by his siblings: Frank Seel, Tammy Robinson, Karla Hards, Jim Seel, Donna Sease, Mike Seel, Ken Seel, Debra McRae, Calvin Stanley, Tom Seel, and James Stanley.
Clyde retired from the State of Kansas as a Central Mail Specialist. He had a passion for RC airplanes, RC boats, and woodworking. He found joy in his pet bulldogs and especially cherished his beloved dog, Roxy.
The family extends their deepest appreciation to the VA Hospital, Stormont Vail Hospital, and KU Medical Center for their compassionate care and support during Clyde’s most difficult times.
A remembrance gathering in honor of Clyde will be held on Thursday, April 24th, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Westlake Shelter House in Gage Park. Light snacks and beverages will be served. All who knew and loved Clyde are welcome to attend and share memories.
