Colman L. Pugh, 78, of Topeka, entered into rest on Sat., Oct. 3, 2009, at Midland Hospice House in the presence of family. He was born on June 27, 1931, in Cold Water, KS, the son of Raymond and Nellie (Taylor) Pugh.
Colman was a graduate of Berkeley High School in Berkeley, CA in 1948, and Oklahoma A&M in 1956, with a degree in Engineering.
He served as a Sergeant in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Colman married Esther Jane Watson on May 17, 1957, in Oskaloosa. They later divorced.
He retired after 30 years of service as a Customer Engineer for IBM.
Survivors include two sons, Jim and Patty Pugh and Bob and Robyn Pugh of Topeka; daughter, Debra and Jerry McInerney of Lawrence; brother, Roy Pugh of Owasso, OK; sister, Evelyn Davies of Bokoshe, OK and five grandchildren.
Dad was loved and will be missed by all.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wed. Oct. 7 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel. Interment will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
