Connie S. Coffey, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. She was born November 24, 1947 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Amato and Ruby (Kern) Basile.
Connie graduated from Washburn Rural High School. She was employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for over 30 years before retiring. Through her love for animals, she was a member of ASPCA for many years.
Connie married Gerald Coffey on February 20, 1971 in Topeka. The later divorced.
Survivors include children, Chelsea D. Williams of Madison, Kansas, Todd M. Coffey of Dunedin, Florida and three grandchildren, Skyler, Colt and Kendall.
As per Connie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 S.W. 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
