Connie Sue Scott, 72, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
She was born July 5, 1949, in Norton, Kansas, the daughter of Carl and Joyce (Gibson) Scott.
Connie attended St. Mary's High School and graduated in 1967. She later went on to attend Kaw Valley Vo-Tech where she received her LPN Certificate.
Connie was employed most of her life as an LPN at the Wamego City Hospital. Later in her career she worked for the Cotton O'neil Clinic until her retirement.
Ms. Scott was a member of the Topeka Nucomers and the Rebound Physical Therapy Exercise Program in Topeka.
Survivors include her daughter, Nicole (Todd) Allen of Topeka; her siblings, Steven (Linda) Scott of Rossville, Karen (Tom) Seele of Ft. Meyers, FL and Kevin Scott of Miami, FL; her grandchildren, Wyatt Allen and Reagan Allen.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Schumaker; her parents and her brother, Brian (Tammy) Scott.
Connie enjoyed crocheting, listening to country music, attending theaters, traveling and good food. The highlight of her life was attending her grandchildren's activities and spending time with her family and friends.
Honoring Connie's request, cremation is planned. A visitation will begin at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Dove Cremations and Funerals – Southwest Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm at Dove Cremations and Funerals – Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66610.
Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606.
