Constance E. Buechner, 96, Topeka, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009 at McCrite Plaza.
Connie was born October 20, 1912 in Topeka, the daughter of Walter and Lena Fay (Barnes) Clark. She was a lifelong resident of Topeka.
She and her husband operated Buechner & Son grocery store in North Topeka.
She was a lifetime member and a pianist/organist at the Wanamaker Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Connie married Charles Buechner on October 23, 1933 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Oster, Columbia, MO; grandchildren, Brian Oster, Lisa Ruebush, Amy Oster; six great grandchildren; brother, Harley Clark, Topeka; and sister, Mary Bogle, Loma Linda, CA.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Wanamaker Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2435 SW Wanamaker Road. Private inurnment was in Rochester Cemetery.
