Craig Edward Wade, 51, of Topeka, KS passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014.
He was born October 12, 1962, in Plattsburgh, New York, the son of Ralph and Patricia (Pierce) Wade. Craig attended Topeka High School.
Craig ended his battle with cancer only after one year.
Survivors include two daughters, Erica Duthu, Houma, LA and Alissa Wade, Oakdale, LA; one granddaughter, Camberly Duthu, Houma, LA; four siblings, Chere Shaw, Palm Bay, FL; Denise Hart and David Wade; Topeka and Darin Wade, Lawrence, KS; three nephews, one niece, three great-nephews and three great-nieces. And one special friend Vickie Maricle of Oakdale, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Craig was a chef for various restaurants, most recently with the Celtic Fox. Craig lived in South Louisiana for many years as a cook returning to Topeka in 2002. He was a lover of out doors, and couldn't go without listening to his favorite bands, Chicago, The Eagles, TOTO, Foreigner or KC and the Sunshine Band.

A memorial ceremony will be held 4:00 on Tuesday, May 20 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 S.W. 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
