Dale Ronnekamp

Dale Ronnekamp, 85, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Midland Hospice House.
Dale was born October 5, 1931, in Hastings, Nebraska to Raymond and Lenora (Komrofske) Ronnekamp.
He spent the majority of his life in the trucking industry as a driver, owner, dispatcher and operations manager in Colorado and Kansas. Dale loved people and always saw the best in them. He was readily available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, especially his brother who had cerebral palsy. His smile lit up the room. Dale had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and attended Crossroads Wesleyan Church.
In 1958, he married Norma Whited. Together they had two children. She preceded him in death in 1991. In 2000, he married Lora Peterson.
He is survived by his wife, Lora, daughters; Karen Ronnekamp, Melanee and husband, Orie Allison, three grandsons, Justin, Joey, and Raymond, and one sister, Cindy Ronnekamp. Dale will also be missed by Lora's four children; Roger, Stephen and Jeff Ferguson and Julie Rindt, and their families;
Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Norma, his sister, Donna Mueller, and his brother, Loren Ronnekamp.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Crossroads Wesleyan Church, 2121 SW Harrison, Topeka, Kansas. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
