Dan M. Krug

Dan M. Krug, 80, of Tecumseh, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024.

He was born April 14, 1944, in Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Harold W. and Evelyn (Conrad) Krug. He was a 1963 graduate of Dodge City High School and attended Dodge City Community College for 1 year. 

Dan was employed by Falley's Grocery Store later becoming Food 4 Less Grocery Store in Topeka for 42 years before retiring.

He was a member of Tecumseh United Methodist Church.

Dan married Patricia A. Noller on January 31, 1965 in Dodge City, Kansas. She survives in Tecumseh. Other survivors include two sons, Jeffery M. (Melissa) Krug of Fort Worth, TX and Brian D. (Jude) Krug of Topeka, KS; two granddaughters, Grace E. Krug and Megan A. Krug; his sister, Kathryn L. Krug of Phoenix, AZ; aunt, Fern Krug of Texas and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Patricia A. Hulse.

Dan was a wonderful chef and enjoyed cooking and making sausage with his sons. He loved spending time with family and visiting his granddaughters. He was an avid Chiefs and KU fan. He cared for his yard and enjoyed gardening his vegetables.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm, Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka.

A funeral ceremony will be 10:00 am, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time. Please see the link below. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka.
