Daniel Fredrick Kuck, 93, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021.
He was born November 5, 1927, in Fairbury, Nebraska, the son of Adolph and Mabel (Alloway) Kuck. He attended Fairbury High School. He served in the United States Army for 30 years during World War II and Korea.
Daniel spent his last working years teaching ROTC in Bangor (ME) High School, retiring in 1968.
Mr. Kuck was a member of the Retired Airborne Rangers Association.
Daniel married Ann Lee Nuding on November 16, 1952 in Hebron, Nebraska. She survives along with his children Daniel Kuck, Jr. (Julie) of Topeka, Donald (Anita) Kuck of Topeka, and Cynthia Kuck of Topeka; grandchildren, Daniel Kuck III, Brandon (Karla) Kuck, Sidney Kuck, Loren Kuck, Donavan Kuck, Kala Kuck, Nicholas Kuck, Jeremy (Sumer) Gooch, Zack Gatewood, and Connor Gatewood; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister and his brother-in-law.
Daniel enjoyed writing (including children's' books), painting and puzzles.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 5th at 11:00 AM at West Lawn Memorial Gardens in Topeka with interment to follow. The family will receive friends and family at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southeast Chapel on Friday, June 4th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
