David Atkinson

David Atkinson, 50, was born in Onaga, KS on June 18, 1959 and died in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 2, 2009. He spent his early years traveling with his parents in the military. He served in the U.S. Navy and later worked in the agriculture industry in California and as an electrician in Kansas and New Orleans. He is survived by his two children, Jake and Jessie of Laytonville, California; parents, Gary Atkinson of Topeka and Luanne Atkinson of Fairview Heights, Illinois; two sisters, Nancy Shulz of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Susan Lovering of Minneapolis, Minnesota; one brother, John Atkinson of St. Louis, Missouri. A private family graveside service will be held in Wamego, Kansas at a later date.
