David C. Baker, 47, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020. He was born May 17, 1973 in Topeka, the son of Richard and Debbie (Griffin) Baker.
David was employed in the construction field. He had a strong bond with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed several outdoor activities which he was no longer able to participate in.
David married Melissa I. Britt on February 14, 2000 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children, Mariah (Keegan) Rupple of Auburn, Latishia Thomas of Topeka, Ashley Thomas of Topeka, Donovan Baker of Topeka, 5 grandchildren, his father Richard D. Baker of Topeka and his siblings, Marshall Sheppard and Nicole Ashley Van Dyne.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Starnes on March 1, 2020.
Private memorial services will be held at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
