David Duane Campbell

David Duane Campbell, 91, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023.
He was born July 21, 1932, in Americus, Kansas, the son of Carl and Merle (McManus) Campbell. He graduated from Highland Park High School. He joined the Navy and served on the USS Northampton ship from April 30, 1956 to June 22, 1960. He was honorably discharged.
David owned and operated his own heating, plumbing, and air company for 50 years, until retirement.
Mr. Campbell was a member of the VFW and the American Legion, of Topeka.
Survivors include his son, Stephen Campbell, daughters, Madonna Campbell, and Carla Campbell-Kasl, 12 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughters, Catherine Campbell-Nottingham, and Michelle Campbell.
Honoring his wishes, cremation is planned. A celebration of life will be held at his home 1039 Strait Ave, Topeka, KS on August 26, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at a later date.
