David A. Cottrell, 49, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away 9/29/2015. He was born April 6, 1966 in Topeka, Kansas to Milton G. and Helen M. (Hunsecker) Cottrell. He grew up in Topeka and attended Highland Park Central Elementary, Eisenhower Middle School and Auburn Washburn High. He attended American Career College to study computers.
David was a painter and handyman for Parrish Property Management for over 10 years. He enjoyed fixing things around the house and spending time with his dog Pearl.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Cain; step-mother, Charlotte Jarchow; brother, Sean Cottrell; sister, Mary Zirkle, brother-in-law Ky; and his niece and nephews: Danielle Cottrell, Michael Carpenter, Logan Cottrell and Ty Zirkle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton; grandparents: Helen and Henry Hunsecker and Marion and Milton Cottrell, Sr.
