David H. Decker, 28, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011 due to injuries he received as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born February 1, 1983 in Topeka, the son of Drew H. and Tracy L. Cumpton Decker.
David was employed by Fifth Gear Auto Sport. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church. David married Melissa Jo King. She survives. Other survivors include his two sons, Dylan and Alex, his parents, Drew and Sharon Decker of Topeka, his mother, Tracy Cumpton of Colorado, his sister, Laurie Lee of Topeka, his brother, Jason Long of Alaska, and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Joann Cumpton of Topeka.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Fellowship Bible Church, 6800 SW 10th St. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Dylan and Alex Decker Memorial Fund c/o Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave., Topeka, KS 66605.
