David J. Kothe, 61, Topeka, passed away Dec. 10, 2011. He was born Aug. 7, 1950 in Tulsa, OK the son of Charles A. and Janet (Fleming) Kothe. He was a 1969 graduate of Memorial High School, Tulsa and was employed by the Topeka State Hospital, Topeka Public Schools and Atria Hearthstone.
David married Laura E. Sevy on Aug. 8, 1987 in Topeka. She survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Rachael and Sarah Kothe, one son, Thomas Kothe; 2 grandchildren, Hailey and Mason Kothe, all of Topeka; 2 brothers, Charles Kothe, Hurricane, UT and James Kothe, Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Diane Kothe.
A memorial gathering will be held Sat. Dec. 17, 2011 from 11:00AM-2:00PM at the Crestview Shelter House, 4901 SW Shunga Dr. Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ensley Gardens, 3137 SE 29th St. Topeka, KS 66605.
