David L. Kinsch of Topeka passed away May 1, 2014, at his home. He was born on March 28, 1934, in Parsons, Kansas, to Henry A. and Nettie B. (Wilkerson) Kinsch. He married Virginia Denney in Parsons on January 22, 1954. In 1957, they moved to Topeka. He was employed at the Santa Fe Railroad, Unclaimed Freight Department. He retired in 1985 due to his health.
Dave was loved dearly by his wife and family. He loved his family and his home. He liked to travel, to visit with family and friends, watching TV (the news, golf, westerns, and comedies, "The Price is Right", "Antiques Roadshow", "Duck Dynasty and "American Pickers"), trains, playing golf, woodworking, and people. He was fun to be with.
Dave is survived by his wife; daughter, Debbie Steers; sons, Mike, Doug, Greg and John (Kathy), all of Topeka; grandsons, Jimi, Logan, Jay, Jake, and Adam; granddaughters, Beth, Mindie and Janelle; and the most recent love of his life, his great-granddaughter, Jayde; sister, Janice Abbott of Topeka; sisters, Tory and Lonva and brothers, Jerry and Danny all of Parsons. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda; his parents; sister, Bonnie; and brothers, Ralph, Art, Hank and Ike.
Services will be Saturday, May 10th, 11:00 am, at the United Methodist Church in Silver Lake, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
