David Michael "Mike" Philipp, 53, Holton, KS passed away on Tuesday January 18, 2022.
Mike was born on October 26, 1968 in Topeka, the son of David and Judy (Smith) Philipp.
He graduated from Rossville High School and attended Washburn University.
He was previously employed by the Department of Revenue, State of Kansas.
He had a passion for music and touched many lives through his talent as an amazing guitarist. He was a member and lead guitarist for the band "Mixed Emotions".
Mike married Lisa Alley on June 9, 2001 in Circleville, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his mother Judy, Stepfather Bob Welch, Topeka; a sister Michel' (Jim) Cole and family, Topeka; half-brother Tony (Jessica) Campbell, Farmington, MN; half-sister Angel Philipp, Minneapolis, MN.
Preceded in death by his father David Philipp.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
