Dawn Lynn Buck, 57, of Topeka, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018.
She was born May 31, 1961 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Joe and Dolores Buck.
Dawn was raised in Great Bend, graduating from Great Bend High School, Barton County Community College and later receiving her Pharmacy Degree from the University of Kansas.
She was a pharmacist at Revco, Kings Daughter's Hospital, Scott and White Hospital, all in Temple, Texas and the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Topeka, Kansas.
Dawn was a member First Christian Church of Temple, TX and later First Christian Church, Topeka.
Survivors include a son, Brandon Leon Buck, Belton, TX; three sisters, Constance Jo Meiske, and her husband, Ray, Austin, TX, Patricia Ann Buck, and her husband, Robert, Austin, TX, Reverend Carol Buck Roberts, and her husband, John, Azle, TX; her brother, Gregory Lee Buck, and his wife, Angela, Austin, TX; many beloved nieces and nephews, Aaron Buck, William Meiske II, Christopher Meiske, Jess Buck, Dani Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Megan Buck and Joe Buck; great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dawn loved the Lord and her family, especially her son, Brandon. She was very active in her church, playing in the Bell Choir, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, and Prayer Warrior. She was known for her infectious laugh, love and generosity.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 at the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ, 1880 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66604.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ.
