DeAnita J. Anderson, 49, of Topeka, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at an Overland Park, Kansas care facility. She was born June 2, 1968 in Topeka, the daughter of Jesse and Phyllis (Anderson) Collins.
DeAnita graduated from Topeka High School in 1986.
Survivors include one son, AnTony R. Jones, her father, Jesse Collins and her siblings, Beverly Loyd, Latoya Anderson, Allene Daily and Robert Anderson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Crestview Shelter House at 4901 SW Shunga Dr., Topeka, Kansas on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
