Deborah Joe "Deb" Eckhoff, 56, of Lenexa, KS passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Born on March 2, 1953, the daughter of Lloyd and Delores Marett.
She is a graduate of Topeka West High School.
Deb married Ray Eckhoff on August 23, 1991, in Lawrence, KS at the Southwest Church of Christ.
Deb was a wonderful homemaker and devoted wife. She especially enjoyed calling family members and sending cards for every occasion.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; 3 sisters, Peggy (Derick) Kauffman, Beverly (Joe) Ortiz and Susan Marett, one brother, Greg (Tammy) Marett, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7 at Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00. Dove Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Topeka Rescue Mission, 600 N Kansas Avenue, Topeka 66608.
