Deborah L. Blevins, 56, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at a Topeka hospital. She was born August 25, 1956 in Denver, CO, the daughter of George and Rosalie Hegner Mendenhall.
Deborah married James Seem. They divorced. Deborah married Gordon A. Blevins. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Benjamin Seem of Topeka, one step-daughter, Kellie Blevins of Lawrence, three grandchildren, Tristen, James and Isabella, her father, George Mendenhall of Denver, CO, her mother, Rosalie Hegner of West Virginia and one sister, Margaret Morgenegg of New York.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, KS 66604.
