Debra Ann Lowry, 55, Auburn, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016.

She was born March 7, 1961, in Emporia, Kansas the daughter of James and Mary Ann (Williams) Weckwerth.

She graduated from Seaman High School in 1979. She worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas for 37 years.

Debra married Michael Lowry on August 1, 1981 at Auburn Presbyterian Church. He survives. Other survivors include their children: James (Carolyn) Lowry, Danialle Lowry and Jerry (Jessica) Lowry; siblings: Carol (Paul) Ziegler, Keith Weckwerth and Doug Weckwerth; step-mother: Linda Weckwerth and four grandchildren: Katie, William, Karley and Clayton Lowry.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel. Private inurnment will be at Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
