Mrs. DeLillian Kane, 84, Topeka died Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at The Topeka Presbyterian Manor. She was born April 8, 1921 at Leavenworth the daughter of William H. Mead and Mary Wolff-Mead.
She had worked as a secretary for the Univ. of Colorado, Boulder.
Mrs. Kane was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John L. Kane; a brother, Phillip Mead; and a sister, Mary Olive Hageman.
Surviving are a brother, Ulysses W. Mead, of Topeka; a nephew, Kevin Mead ; and three nieces: Janet Gabrick, Sharon Winsor, and Mary Rae Harms.
Committal services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2005 at Mount Muncie Cemetery, Leavenworth. Mrs. Kane will lie in state from 3:00 p.m. Thursday to 10:00 a.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 S.E. Minneosota, Topeka.
