Deloris Ann Johnson

Deloris A. Johnson, 75, of Topeka, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born May 31, 1935 in Norwalk, WI, the daughter of Daniel and Elezbeth (Rohde) Cleary.
She was raised in Sparta, WI. Deloris married Marvin E. Johnson on February 10, 1962 at Marysville, KS. He survives. She is also survived by her children; Debra Watson (Ron), Dennis Johnson (Laurie), Lori MedicineHorse; a sister, Phylis Hasz; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter; one brother; and two sisters.
Deloris was a Certified Nurses Assistant and worked for many years at Atria Hearthstone and Brewster Place in Topeka. Besides her husband and family, Deloris loved cooking, her flower garden, and she had a special place in her heart for her pets.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 27, at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606. The family will have a visitation one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Penwell Gabel Cemetery's Mausoleum.
