Dennis L. Johnson, 65, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at a Topeka hospital. He was born November 13, 1951 in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Dwight and Ardith (Hess) Johnson.
Dennis was a member of ADAPT and TILRIC.
Dennis married Rhoda Lovette on September 5, 2008 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include his mother, Ardith Stone and his step-mother, Betty Johnson.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 S.W. 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
