Dennis Reaves

Dennis "Denny" Reaves, 33, formerly of Topeka, died Thursday, April 27, 2006, as a result of a fire at his home in Lowell, AR. He was born July 5, 1972 in Kansas City, KS.

He was a graduate of Highland Park High School and studied art at Washburn University. Denny was an Air Force veteran, having served in Desert Storm.

Denny was an accomplished artist, avid disc golfer, and master craftsman specializing in fine home construction and additions.

Survivors include a son, Christian Reaves of Georgia; two daughters, Skyler Lee'Ann and Meadow Lynn Reaves of Siloam Springs, AR; his parents, Beverlee Dawson and Ronald Reaves, a sister Shannen Rodriguez, all of Topeka; a sister and brother, Samantha and Jacob Reaves of Hoyt, and his grandmother, Eleanor Cochran of Olathe. He also leaves behind a large loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.

A celebration of Denny's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 5, at Lakewood Shelter House, 2301 SE Lakewood, Topeka. All family and friends are invited to attend.
