Desiree Renee Miracle Hood passed away quietly at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born four months early at one pound and 12 inches long. She was born to Melissa R. Hood and James Lamont Phillips on May 11, 2012 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She has one older sister, SayDaia Marie Hood.
Desiree was a fighter and very strong. She passed away in her mother's arms. She is gone but will never be forgotten and will always be loved by her family. A celebration of her life is pending.
