Diana K. Dunton

Diana K. Dunton, 73, of Berryton, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born April 2, 1950 in Topeka, the daughter of Clifford and Arlene (Forbes) Currey.
Diana graduated from Seaman High School in 1969. She was employed by Frito Lay for 37 years before retiring in 2009.
Diana married Doug Dunton on January 16, 1977 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include children, James E. (Amy) Dunton of Topeka, Heather Dunton of Berryton, three grandchildren, Drake, Aaron and Ethan, her brother, Clifford Currey of Topeka and her nephews and niece, Shannon, Melvin and Joyce.
Diana was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Easter.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Dove Southeast Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lynn Creek Cemetery southeast of Topeka.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 S.W. 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604 or to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
