Dolores D. Rasdall
Dolores D. Rasdall, 75, Topeka, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born May 13, 1933 in Downs, the daughter of Corrine A. Nunn Burger-Luthi.
She came to Topeka in 1957. Dolores worked in the grocery business for 23 years as office manager for Dibbles. She later worked as a paraprofessional for 12 years for Laidlaw and USD 501, taking care of special needs children. She was a friend to all.
She married Robert L. Rasdall on July 31, 1949 in Beloit. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Robert L. "Bobby" Rasdall, Jr. (Patty) and a daughter, Sondra Jo "Sandy" Eastwood (Lloyd) all of Topeka; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Owen H. Burger of St. Louis.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
Mrs. Rasdall will lie in state from 9 am to 5 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice House, 200 SW Frazier Circle, 66606.
