Donald “Don” Phillip Guilbault

Donald “Don” Guilbault, 58, a longtime resident of Topeka, Kansas, died December 21, 2024, at his home. Don was born January 23, 1966, in Redwood City, California. He married Laurie (Palmer) on November 23, 2007, and later divorced. Together, they welcomed Don’s beloved daughter, Gracie Mariah, in 2008, whom he cherished. 

Don settled in Topeka in 1984 where he lived the remainder of his life, working as a local autobody and roofing contractor for 40 years. Don is remembered for his love of his daughter and racing, as well as his loyalty, sense of humor and ingenuity. 

Don was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Robert Guilbault; his mother, Carol Jean Reyes; his sister, Judith Gonzalez; and his wife, Karen (Kohn).

Don is survived by his daughter, Gracie Mariah Guilbault; his siblings, Arthur Guilbault Jr. of Beaumont, Texas, Candace Belew, and Holly Roberts, Centerview, Missouri.

No services will be held locally. Don’s final resting place will be in his family plot in Prairie Home Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
