Donald C. "Don" Fox, 64, of Tecumseh, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at a Topeka hospital ER. He was born November 25, 1955 in Topeka, the son of Horton L. and Florence M. (Bernauer) Fox.
Don graduated from Topeka West High School and earned an Associate's Degree from Dean Junior College in Massachusetts. He was a Marine Corps Veteran. He was employed by Associated Wholesale Grocers.
Don married Gail A. Peterson on September 23, 1978 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Jessica (Gordon) Bryden of Massachusetts, Adam C. (Jennifer) Fox of Topeka, Laura J. Fox of Topeka, six grandchildren, Christina, Stephanie, Dustin, Carrie, Evan and Kaylee, his mother, Florence M. Fox and his siblings, Dwight Fox and Diane Fox.
Don is preceded in death by his father and his infant sister, Doris Jean.
As per Don's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will take place. A Celebration of Don's Life will be announced at a later date by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Shawnee Heights Fire District, 2626 S.E. Shawnee Heights Rd., Tecumseh, Kansas 66542.
