Donald H. Stebbins

Donald "Herb" Stebbins passed away at his home on Sept. 15, 2011 at the age of 93. Herb was born at Perry, Kansas on Jan. 18, 1918 to Charles Frederick and Velma L. (Dick) Stebbins. Herb was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. Herb married Eunice Stewart on Dec. 19, 1943 and enjoyed 67 years of marriage. Herb is survived by his wife, Eunice Stebbins; two sons, Arliss and his wife Kay of Lawrence, KS and Theran of Topeka; his grandchildren, Brian and Nicole Stebbins of North Carolina, Bethany Pinargote of Illinois, Amanda and Matthew Berner of Kansas City, and Jeffrey Stebbins of Lawrence; and 4 great-grandsons, Daniel and Samuel Pinargote, and William and Matthew Wyatt Stebbins; and his brother Lyle of Topeka. There will be a private memorial service held at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service for family members to celebrate Herb's life.
