Donita Kay Knight, 65, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
She was born March 17, 1958, in Herington, Kansas, the daughter of Donald and Betty (Storey) Knight. She attended Herington High School.
Donita was employed by various care facilities in Topeka until retiring.
Survivors include her daughter, Tania Banks-Sudduth of Topeka; three siblings, Ben Knight of New York, NY, Jan Williams of Mountain Home, AR and Luann Knight of Salina, KS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her three siblings, Darrel Knight, James E. Knight and Terresia Lujan and her grandcats, Sasha and Merlina.
Donita loved getting to know people, celebrating holidays and making sure everyone was included. She enjoyed music, watching TV, good food and was an avid KU basketball fan.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. No ceremony is scheduled. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
