Donna Dean Benton, 78, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020.
She was born July 28, 1941, in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of Eugene and Elizabeth (Pogue) Fellman.
Donna attended Immaculata Catholic High School and graduated Leavenworth High School in 1964 and furthered her education at the Kansas City Community College where she obtained an Associate Degree.
Donna was employed as an office manager for Pol Psychiatric Association in Kansas City.
She was a member of the KA Quilt Club and Church of The Holy Trinity in Aurora, Missouri.
Donna married Raymond Benton on February 24, 1959 in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Raymond Benton of the home and a daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Brinegar of Springfield, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Trudi Condron.
Donna enjoyed quilt making, embroidery, book reading and old movies.
Honoring Donna's request, cremation is planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. Interment of the cremated remains will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 and the American Heart Association, 5375 SW. 7th St, Topeka, KS 66606.
