Donna L. Daugherty, 90, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at a local care center.
Donna was born October 21, 1927 in Grant City, MO, the daughter of Clarence E. and Margie Estella (Jennings) Wineinger.
She was employed as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Brewster Place for over 15 years.
She was a member of Shawnee Heights Baptist Church and recently attended Light of the World Christian Center.
Donna married Lawrence Daugherty on January 27, 1947 in Atchison. He died in February 20, 1991. Survivors include their children, Cathy (Randy) Brown, Harveyville, Nancy (Gary) Fisher, Topeka, David (Clara) Daugherty, Oklahoma, Betty (Larry) Davin, Mark Daugherty, Charles Daugherty, all of Topeka;19 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence James Daugherty, Jr; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
