Donna Jean Hawkins, 75, of Topeka, passed away July 11, 2012. She was born at Topeka, Kansas on September 22, 1936 to Donald and Myrtle (DeBaun) Hawkins. Donna had no siblings.
She was employed by the State of Kansas and the Veterans Administration Hospital for over 20 years. Donna is survived by her two sons, Pleaz Jr. of Topeka and Donald of Henderson, Nevada; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at True Light Church Ministries, 2046 California, in Topeka with visitation being held for one hour before the service. Online condolences may be left on this website or sent to the famly at GQUMP@cox.net.
